LearnWorlds
Introducing a New Chapter for H4 Learning
At Common Mission Project, we believe that learning should be practical, engaging, and something that sets people up to take on real-world challenges. That’s what our ‘Hacking for’ courses are all about. But as our courses have grown, we realised we needed a platform that could really support both students and educators to get the most out of the experience.
That’s why we’re so excited to launch LearnWorlds, our brand new learning platform that sits at the heart of H4 courses.
What Is LearnWorlds?
Our H4 courses have always been ambitious. They push students to think differently, work creatively, and solve meaningful problems. To match that ambition, we wanted a learning platform that was interactive, flexible, and engaging.
LearnWorlds is an online learning platform designed to make learning more interactive and accessible. For students, it’s a way to stay on top of their H4 journey without feeling lost in the process. For educators, it’s a tool that makes delivering H4 courses smoother and more impactful.
Here are some of the features we’re most excited about:
Interactive modules covering key aspects of the H4 course as well as a comprehensive overview of the Lean Start-up methodology
Gradebooks, progress tracking and review centres, making participant progress tracking quick and seamless
Community spaces for students, educators and other stakeholders to connect and stay in touch
Communication features allowing us to easily send reminders and push notifications
AI integrations which help in creating interactive exercises and content
A First for Our H4 Educator Course
After an impressive number of interviews, the students took the information gained to the Army Cyber team to explore the internal challenges of an app-based solution that not only addressed symptoms, but also provided a menstrual health ‘risk rating’ for women that factored in stress levels, field exercise, etc. The students realised that there was a point in Army Phase 1 training where female recruits would benefit early in a career by tracking any new symptoms through the mobile-based app. These trends in servicewomen’s menstrual cycles could be followed throughout their career in the Army, potentially painting a picture of women’s health from the onset to the close of their military careers. Having that powerful population-based data on women’s health would be a game-changer in the longer term.
Looking Ahead
The decision to adopt LearnWorlds reflects more than just a change in technology. It is about making sure our courses are delivered in a way that matches the mission of Common Mission Project: preparing people to take on complex, real-world problems with creativity, confidence, and purpose.
The launch of LearnWorlds is an important milestone, but it is only the beginning. As we move forward, we will continue to develop the platform, add new features, and listen closely to feedback from both students and educators. We believe this step will make H4 courses stronger than ever, and we are excited to see what’s next.
